As an artist, Teresa often draws inspiration from nature, and color, which the desert, mountains, ocean and cities provide. She studied fine art at various Institutions where she devoted her concentration on watercolor. Next, Teresa heeded a sensible inner voice and turned fulltime to painting. She then earned local recognition in the coastal community of Ventura CA.
